Craziness!

Yikes! So much for once a week. This last month has been busy for Hubii and me. The end of semester has been crazy. Both Hubii and I were able to get our grades in on time. I am glad to be done with TAing and Hubii seems more relaxed now. We have been busy with nicer things than exams and grading. Here's a picture of me letting loose at a friend's wedding. This was one of the funnest weddings I have been to yet. If you didn't realize it we have wiimotes in our hands and were dancing along with Just Dance 2.

They also had a photo booth set up. I was listening for babii's kicks.

My friends in Atlanta held a babii shower for me. Here Leslie and I are practicing with my friend, Jordan's, baby boy.

I even had family show up!

Later that day we were able to take a walk around campus. Here we our with our wonderful hosts at the Campanile (don't get freaked out, Lisa is only pretending pregnant).

It was great to see everyone in Atlanta.
Now it's back to work for me. I have to do some intense research in June, but at least I won't have to take any classes. Hubii is going to spend this time getting the babii's nursery ready. In fact he has made a lot of progress moving office furniture out of the nursery. Soon everything will be out and we will paint the nursery and fill it with soft, fuzzy babii things.
Oh, I guess I should let you know that babii is now supposedly the size of a squash (like a kabocha I guess). Everything is fine so far. Next week we start our childbirth classes. I hear that they aren't very useful and mostly just prepare you to get an epidural, but might as well go and see what they have to say. I will tell you what it is like, probably in a long whiny blog post.

  2. Our childbirth class did much more than prepare us for an epidural. Hope yours is good too.
